  1. Ive looked all over for help but maybe you can help me. I was trying to add new a new pokemon.txt to my PBS folder. But now when i play test it gives me an error along the lines of "Exception:runtime error Message:Required entry shape is missing or empty in section 1" PLEASE if you can help me that would be a life saver. I can give a picture too if needed. I have the same error as shown on this page http://pokemonessentials.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:10233.

  3. according to the wiki, it automatically adds in the word Pokemon. for example, Bulbasaur is the seed Pokemon, but if you add just the word seed, it adds Pokemon. how do you change that word to something else?

  4. How can you evolve a Greninja into an Ash-Greninja with the use of an Ability. At evolution i have: Evolutions=ASHGRENINJA,Ability,BATTLEBOND. Is this good?

  5. How do you make someone say whatever the pokémons name is thats selected? Because I put (e.g "Your v[1] looks healthy") but all they say is ("Your 0 looks healthy). Please help me/

  7. This is really helpful. I only have one problem, though. When I get defeated in a battle, it sends me to "Lappet Town." Is there a way to make it transfer the player to the test town?

  8. These are some great Tutorials. With just the first 10 episodes and some looking up on the Essentials Wiki, I created my own starting town and starter choice. Not being a Starter Choice really. I managed to create a script that makes the Professor lend the player a Gallade and some Pokeballs, after which the player goes into a small cave area in the starting town, catches his first mon (or more), and then return the Gallade. The way Wally did it in R/S/E.
    And i didn't have the slighest clue about programming prior to this 😀
    However I did run into the problem of not figuring out how to delete the Gallade specifically from the players Party, so i ran a check whether the first mon was the Gallade, after which the first mon gets deleted if that is the case. I'd rather have the player choose it from his party, and have it get deleted upon doing so.

  9. For some reason my shinyback sprite is NEVER transparent, I don't know why, and when I try to with the Transparent thing with RPGMAKERXP, the front sprite for decidueye is replaced with a non transparent decidueye, but the new shiny backsprite is actually transparent…I need help

    So I want to replace the sprites that come standard with Pokemon Essentials with a complete set of 64×64 sprites I have, as well as a number of 64×64 sprites I've created. Is there coding I have to change so that the sprites zoom correctly (fill up the viewing area) or did I mess up making my sprites such small resolution (some of the bigger ones may need a 128×128 canvas) tl;dr I suppose what I'm asking is can you adjust sprite zoom/size in-game?

    Also, can you cover (or have you covered?) making a region-only Pokedex, say only including 250 Pokemon of various generations and once you've caught those 250 you've 'completed the pokedex' as well as each having a custom regional dex number for each 'mon etc etc etc

  11. I tried to use a Pokemon I created for the starter and did everything you said, but it won't work and I keep getting error messages. Something like, 'The species number (no. 0 of 649) is invalid.' But I didn't make any numbers 0? I don't understand why the heck this happens.
